(4 lb.) bone-in pork shoulder, cut into 3 pieces and trimmed of all visible fat
(1) onion, thinly sliced
(1/2 cup) brown sugar
(1/2 cup) ketchup
(1/3 cup) cider vinegar
(1/4 cup) tomato paste
(1/4 cup) water
(2 Tbsp.) mustard
(2 Tbsp.) worcestershire sauce
(1/2 tsp.) hot-pepper sauce

Sweet Pulled Pork
A bone-in pork shoulder coated in warm spices, slow-cooked with a homemade barbeque sauce then shredded.

Instructions
1In a small bowl, combine salt, paprika, chili powder, cumin and cayenne pepper. Coat all sides of pork with spice rub. Place in slow cooker with rest of ingredients.
2Cover, cook on low 6-8 hours. Take out of slow cooker, remove bone. Let cool 10 minutes. Shred pork with forks, add back to slow cooker and coat with sauce. Serve as is or on whole-wheat rolls.*
