Lime Buttered Salmon

  • (2 Tbsp.) unsalted pepitas, toasted
  • (1 Tbsp.) butter
  • (1/2 tsp.) freshly grated lime zest
  • (2 Tbsp.) lime juice
  • (1/4 tsp.) chili powder
  • (1 lb.) salmon fillet, skinned and cut into 4 portions
  • (1/2 tsp.) salt
  • (1/4 tsp.) freshly ground pepper

Lime Buttered Salmon

Simple pan-seared salmon fillets cooked in a chili-lime butter with toasted pepitas.

  1. 1In a small bowl, combine pepitas, butter, lime zest, lime juice and chili powder.
  2. 2Spray a large, nonstick skillet with cooking spray and place it over medium heat. Season both sides of salmon with salt and pepper. Cook 4-8 minutes, flipping once. Take off heat and set salmon aside.

  3. 3Place pan back on heat and add butter mixture. Stir until melted, pour over salmon and serve.
