Soy Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:
  • (3 Tbsp.) dark brown sugar
  • (1 Tbsp.) low-sodium soy sauce
  • (4 tsp.) Chinese-style hot mustard
  • (1 tsp.) rice vinegar
  • (4 6-oz.) salmon fillets
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/4 tsp.) freshly ground black pepper

Soy Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon

Salmon fillets are baked until flaky then brushed with a brown sugar soy glaze and broiled until flaky.

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a jelly-roll pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  2. 2Place a small saucepan over high heat. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, mustard and rice vinegar, bring to boil.
  3. 3Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper, place on baking pan. Bake for 12 minutes, then remove from oven and turn on broiler.
  4. 4Use a pastry brush to brush salmon with brown sugar mixture. Put under broiler for 3 minutes or until fish is flaky.
