Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu

  • (4) boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/4 tsp.) pepper
  • (4 thin slices) prosciutto or deli ham
  • (1/2 cup) shredded Asiago cheese
  • (1/4 cup) seasoned bread crumbs

Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu

Salty prosciutto and shredded Asiago cheese rolled in thinly pounded chicken breasts, topped with bread crumbs and baked until golden brown.

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 11x7 in. baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. 2Place each chicken breast between 2 sheets of plastic wrap, pound to 1/4 inch thickness. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. 3Place 1 slice prosciutto on each chicken breast, top with shredded cheese. Roll up, tuck in ends and use a toothpick to hold each one together. Place in greased baking dish, top with bread crumbs.

  4. 4Bake 35-45 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve and enjoy!
