Dijon Ham and Swiss Toasts

Ingredients:
  • (4 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • (1 tsp.) Dijon mustard
  • (1 cup) shredded Swiss cheese
  • (3/4 cup) fully cooked ham, diced
  • (1/2 cup) chives, minced and divided
  • (18 slices) French bread (1/2 in. thick)

Dijon Ham and Swiss Toasts

Thick French bread topped with a tangy ham and two cheese spread.

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2Use an electric mixer to beat together cream cheese and mustard until smooth. Add Swiss cheese, ham and 1/4 cup chives, stir by hand to combine.

  3. 3Top each slice of bread with 1 Tbsp. mixture and place on a baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes. Top with rest of chives and serve.
