Maple Porridge w/Grape Jelly

  • (3 1/2 cups) water, divided
  • (1 cup) cornmeal
  • (1/4 cup) maple syrup, or more to taste
  • (1/2 tsp.) ground cinnamon
  • (1/4 cup) cottage cheese
  • (2 Tbsp.) grape jelly

  1. 1Place 2 1/2 cups water in a medium saucepan and place over High heat to boil.
  2. 2Combine cornmeal and 1 cup water in a small bowl. When boiling, add cormeal mixture and continue to boil for 30-40 minutes, stirring often.
  3. 3Add maple syrup and cinnamon. Serve with cottage cheese and grape jelly.
