  • (1/2 tsp.) vanilla extract
  • (1/2 tsp.) water
  • (1/2 cup) rolled or old-fashioned oats

Cinna-Nilla Toasted Oats

Old-fashioned oats tossed with cinnamon and vanilla and baked until toasty.

    Instructions

  1. 1In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, vanilla and water; set aside. Spray a medium non-stick skillet with canola oil cooking spray and place it over medium-high heat.

  2. 2Add the oats, spray again with cooking spray and toast about a minute. Stir in vanilla mixture and continue to stir for 2 minutes.
  3. 3Enjoy with yogurt, cereals, fruit or plain as a healthy breakfast.
