  • (2 cups) sifted cake flour
  • (2 tsp.) baking powder
  • (1/4 tsp.) baking soda
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/2 cup) firmly packed brown sugar
  • (1 tsp.) ground cinnamon
  • (1/4 tsp.) ground ginger
  • (1/4 tsp.) ground cloves
  • (1 cup) canned pumpkin
  • (1/4 cup) unsweetened applesauce
  • 3 Tbsp.) vegetable oil
  • (2 large) eggs, lightly beaten
  • (1 tsp.) vanilla extract

Autumn Pumpkin Bread

This recipe is full of autumn flavors of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, pumpkin and apple.

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x5 in. loaf pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Use your hand to form a small hole in the center of the mixture.

  3. 3In a separate bowl, mix together pumpkin, applesauce, oil, eggs and vanilla. Add to hole you made in flour, stir to combine.
  4. 4Pour into greased pan and bake 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and serve.
