Cucumber Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:
  • (1/3 cup) fat-free plain yogurt
  • (1/3 cup) reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • (1/4 cup) cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • (1/2 cup) cucumber, thinly sliced
  • (1/4 tsp.) Worcestershire sauce
  • (1/4 tsp.) garlic powder
  • (3/8 tsp.) salt, divided
  • (3/8 tsp.) pepper, divided
  • Dash dried thyme
  • (1/2 cup) sweet onion, finely chopped
  • (1/2 cup) green pepper, finely chopped
  • (1 tsp.) ground cumin
  • (1/4 tsp.) cayenne pepper
  • (1 1/2 lb.) extra-lean ground turkey
  • (6 slices) tomato
  • (6) hamburger buns, split

Cucumber Turkey Burgers

Grilled lean turkey patties loaded with vegetables and served with a tangy cucumber mayo.

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat grill to medium heat. Combine yogurt, mayonnaise, chopped cucumber, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper and dried thyme in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate.

  2. 2Mix together onion, green pepper, cumin, rest of salt and pepper, cayenne pepper and turkey in a large bowl. Form into 6 equal patties.
  3. 3Dip a paper towel in oil and use tongs to grease the grill rack. Grill patties 10-14 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
  4. 4Top each bun with 1 slice cucumber, 1 slice tomato, 1 burger, 2 Tbsp. sauce and serve.
