Ingredients:
  • (1/2 lb.) extra-lean ground pork or pork tenderloin, ground
  • (1 Tbsp.) minced red onion
  • (1 1/2 tsp.) minced garlic
  • (1/2 tsp.) dried thyme
  • (1/4 tsp.) ground sage
  • (1/4 tsp.) cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Savory Sausage Patties

This low-calorie breakfast sausage is seasoned to savory perfection.

    Instructions

  1. 1Combine the pork, onion, garlic, thyme, sage, cayenne, black pepper and salt in a large bowl.
  2. 2Separate the mix into four even sections, roll into balls. Using a sheet of waxed paper, flatten each ball into a patty.
  3. 3Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and set it over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the skillet, leaving space inbetween.
  4. 4Cook the patties for one to two minutes on each side or until browned, serve.
