History

The first use of marijuana dates back to 6,000 BC, when its seeds were used as a culinary ingredient in China. Later, textiles made of hemp were used in China and Turkestan. Marijuana was first used medicinally in 2727 BC, also in China. Marijuana was also used in Roman cultures for its euphoric effects.
